Our review policy

We want reviews on Honesty Sales to be honest and useful. This policy explains how we collect, check and show them.

Who can review

We invite every customer to review their purchase after delivery, whether we expect the review to be positive or negative. Reviews from customers we can match to an order are marked “Verified buyer”. Other shoppers may also leave reviews; these are not marked as verified.

We publish all genuine reviews

We publish genuine reviews whatever their star rating. We do not hide, delay, edit or bury negative reviews, and we never make help with a problem conditional on changing or removing a review. Our default sort order is “most helpful”, not “highest rating”.

Fake reviews are not allowed

We do not write, buy or commission reviews, and our staff, their families and our suppliers must not review our products. We use automated checks (for example duplicate text, unusual activity from one network, links and staff email addresses) and human checks to detect fake reviews, and we remove reviews that are not based on a genuine experience.

When we remove a review

We only remove or withhold a review if it is fake, abusive or hateful, contains personal information (such as a phone number or address), is not about the product or our service, is spam, is a duplicate, or the author asks us to. We may mask swear words without changing the meaning. We keep a record of every decision.

Incentivised reviews

We do not currently offer any reward for leaving a review. If we ever do, those reviews will be clearly labelled.

Replies

Our team may reply publicly to reviews. Replies are always marked as coming from Honesty Sales.

We show your first name and last initial only. Your email address is never shown. To edit or remove your review, contact sales@honestysales.com.
