Unser Golden Sella Basmati Reis ist parboiled (teilweise gekochter) Basmatireis. Der Reis wird ganz leicht gekocht, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Nährstoffe in jedem Korn erhalten bleiben. Nach diesem Prozess wird der Reis „golden“, daher der Name Golden Sella.
Der Prozess für Parboiled-Reis beginnt, bevor die Schale entfernt wird. Das komplette Reiskorn wird eingeweicht, kurz gedämpft und getrocknet, anschließend wird die Schale entfernt, um goldenen Parboiled-Reis herzustellen. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass alle Nährstoffe in jedem Reiskorn erhalten bleiben.
Parboiled-Reis gibt nicht viel Duft ab, so dass Sie diesen Reis kochen und umrühren können, ohne dass seine Konsistenz verloren geht. Sie müssen den Reis einfach nur in Wasser kochen, bis er vom Herd genommen werden kann. Dadurch passt der Reis zu jedem Gericht, ohne einen konkurrierenden Geschmack hinzuzufügen.
