Le Vryssaki Halloumi est fabriqué à partir du mélange le plus frais de lait de brebis et de chèvre.

Le Halloumi est un fromage chypriote traditionnel non affiné à base de lait de brebis, de chèvre et de vache, assaisonné de sel et d'un peu de menthe poivrée.
Le nom halloumi est utilisé dans le monde entier pour décrire le fromage grillé. Grâce à sa structure protéique spécifique, ce fromage peut être grillé, rôti ou frit sans fondre et prend une belle couleur brun doré.
Le halloumi, fabriqué traditionnellement, est de forme semi-circulaire. L'espace créé lors du pliage est clairement visible. Pour qu'un fromage fonde lorsqu'il est chauffé, il a besoin d'un pH de 5,9 ou moins. Le Halloumi, quant à lui, a un pH supérieur à 5,9.
Si vous préparez le halloumi à la poêle, placez-le en tranches ou en cubes dans une poêle chaude et laissez-le frire quelques minutes de tous les côtés. Le fromage n'a pas non plus besoin de rester longtemps au four.
