Preparation Guidelines To thicken 1 litre of liquid: You will need about 100g of thickening powder. Add a small amount of cold water to the powder and mix to a paste until any lumps are gone. Add this mixture, whilst stirring, into the hot liquid to be thickened. Bring back to the boil. For a thicker sauce simply add more powder.
